Really love this game, but diagonal swaps is not avaible, please fix it in next update.

Nice looking game, good graphics, sound and functionality BUT what is the POINT of this game? No time limits, no challenges, no 2 player, Cant see the point of this game, sorry.

Word search game, challenging, interesting if odd special effects. Great little game for mental jogging.

5 stars for the German version! What i dont get: there are words, that cant even be found in the dictionary... :-( But all in all Im lovin it!!!

I would not even think a second, to rate this game 5 stars, IF there were NO Gigawatts! Sadly, they are there and do a perfect job in ruining this game. Thanks a lot to you bloodsuckers, Ayopa! REMOVE GIGAWATTS or at least make them WAY EASIER to get through playing the game instead of purchasing them via IAP! REDUCE Gigawatt prices for the in-game powerups! I paid for this game, when there were NO Gigawatts! Now, what are Gigawatts? Simply: COINS of another name. And in NO WAY will anyone (except maybe Einstein or Jesus Christ) succeed in this game in the long run, WITHOUT buying Gigawatts for real money! You need them to buy "powerups" that e.g allow you to move otherwise unmoveable blocks (i.e. hot, broken etc.). You can earn them in-game like 2 or 5 at a time - and maybe you will be able earn 10, 20, 30 per game session (investing a long time playing). The prices for the "powerups" are in the hundreds (e.g. 190 for the wrench) and their prices multiply, when you buy them again within the same game session! In later levels, you wont survive without plenty of Gigawatts! And this is INTENTIONAL. They want you to spend money on Gigawatts! Or is it more precisely "they force you"? Do not let them do so. DONT BUY GIGAWATTS. Dont buy this game as long as they are there! A side note: they dont mention the Gigawatts IAP here in the app store, of course. Thieves, liars, scum!

Simply put, I love this game. The principle had me hooked from the start and I keep playing it almost daily. I bought it in May and have played five games so far, and completed them all! To address the claim of another reviewer that using Gigawatts is a must: except for the first and third game I have not used Gigawatts (for wrenches and swap boosts) at all. Yes, I like word games and my English is not too shabby, but Im certainly no genius, meaning that it is quite possible to finish W.E.L.D.E.R. without ever using Gigawatts. I would even go as far as claiming that Gigawatts remove the challenge of the game which is to form words with the hot and broken and toxic (really dont like those toxic ones) as and where they are. Much more satisfying than just swapping them with wrenches like ordinary tiles. In my last game which I finished this morning, I used no Gigawatts, needed to nuke the board on two occasions, had to use my very last swap at one point and finished Level 15 with 6 normal, 6 reverse, 6 group and 3 jump swaps remaining. Without the final 500 bonus GW, I scored a total of 384 GW in that game.

I am pretty good at the game but itbecomes impossible to beat at some point unless you buy more swaps!!! Pity!! Also some words that do exist are not accepted whilst words that dont exist are!!

I find myself playing this game again and again because I always almost get stuck then figure a way out! Its great.

Though Ive made thru Level 15 more than once, I keep coming for more. Its a great complement to NYTimes crosswords.

An awesome word game. It takes skill and a keen eye to look for possible word formations. I love it.

Best game on iPhone.

Edit: I made a couple of suggestions/complaints in my initial review, which was soon after the game launched. They have all been taken care of and more. I LOVE everything about this game and have gifted it to numerous people. I love the graphics and the sounds -- in fact its one of the few games I play with the sound effects on. Its hard but fair. I enjoy the bonus games as well.

I enjoyed it in the beginning but given 5 rs 3 is etc... in one game, mission impossible. Even with the help of a dictionary.

The new toxic tiles are not a positive addition to the game and the giga things are a money grab that only cheaters will use. Huge price for cheating. Like the new change back button on the new version. Great game if you ignore the giga things but removing the toxic tiles would be much better.

Very addictive game in a good way. Levels are challenging but not over the top difficult.

Downloaded this based on good rating in an app magazine. Dont regret it other than I spend way too much time playing it! Like a cross between scrabble and connect-4. Dictionary is quite extensive, although an option to "allow adult words" would have been a nice addition. But otherwise its great.

I love this game.

Highly addictive. Difficult but do-able. Definitely gets the brain working.
